Hey ho Newgroundio!
Andrew from EC here. I have a moderately exciting announcement!
BTTC2 is REALLY NEARLY DONE!
In fact, it's SO NEARLY DONE that sponsors are now playing it. Meaning a release process will be made in as fast as that can allow. So don't start holding your breath JUST yet. Or do, whatever. Just don't say I forced you to do anything you didn't want to do.
...playing the game doesn't count.
In the meantime, here is a STURDY SLICK TRAILER to soothe your Cuboy withdrawal ailments.

(sorry, embed won't work!)
Please start talking excitedly about Cuboy to anyone who will listen.
awww yeah,
Andrew

Back to the Cubeture 2 is ALMOST, ALMOST DONE. Almost.
In anticipation of this magnificent truth, we are giving people the chance to vote for what they want Cuboy to say at the start of the game (those of you who don't know Cuboy: after the intro, Cuboy says something silly and ever so hilarious to kick off the game/episode).
Please hop over to Facebook and vote for your favourite. It's a wonderful way to pass time while you wait for BTTC2's release!

Hello friendlies. So, we're nominated for a Mochi in the Best Puzzle Game category (weird to think of BTTC1 as a puzzle game.. but I s'pose it is, isn't it?). Thanks to anyone who may have nominated us for that!
One final request from those of you who care. It would be pretty freakin' sweet to be nominated for People's Choice Award as well. Can you make it happen?! Yeah, you! You with the big army of friends on Facebook all dying to click on a new link. Go on, spread the word!
http://www.flashgamingsummit.com/award s.html
(Please note Newgrounds puts spaces in some links - don't just copy/paste! Make sure the link doesn't have unwanted spaces.)
Click on that link, then click on Vote For Your Favorite! BTTC1 is top of the list.
Thanks in advance! Fingers crossed, we might win something and soar to the skies with newly inflated egos!
With much love,
The Castle What is Edible
PS: Back to the Cubeture 2 is really coming along. And it's *so* exciting. Almost too exciting.

Hey, hows it going.
It's been a while since I last posted so I thought I'd let those who care know what we've been up to recently.
At the mo we're working our little cotton socks off on Back to the Cubeture 2. But it's a far bigger task than before as it's a far superior game than the first effort. The planning has been a lot more thorough this time around, which will hopefully show in the end product, but yeah, still a heap of work to do. I'll post some screenshots once we've got more of a strangle-hold on this beast.
I also want to mention our 'Make Your Own Cutoy' prototype. It does pretty much what it says on the tin but basically you can to an extent, customise each part of the cutoy and then print him/her out! It's pretty cool, if you want to give it a go, it's on our site HERE
Keep in mind it's only a prototype, so it aint perfect (yet)

Hopefully you might have noticed the frontpage advert for our new project. But just incase you missed it, we've just released our first ever game! It's called Back to the Cubeture and apart from having one of the wittiest, best thought out game titles of all time, it also stars your pal and mine, Cuboy!

So have a go and see what you think. We had originally planned the game to actually be a collection of mini games.. but as we got further into development, a point n click seemed more fun and gave us a certain level of freedom. I think it's come together really quite well and that's largely thanks to Andy's amazing writing & voicing and Bas in het Veld who has spent a massive amount of time, knee deep in all that codey-clever stuff.
1 other little piece of excitement is the new Tshirt you lot can now buy in the NGs store. It's a Cuboy Tshirt!
http://www.newgrounds.com/store/produc t/cuboy-shirt
Of course I'm not going to hard sell it or anything, but just look at what happens to your head when you wear it!
Cheers,
-Will
