not bad. best thing about this production was the sound quality. gj on that, so many ppl overlook how important sound is to their movies.

Thank you, I try not to compress the audio to the point of distortion. The audio in this Flash movie was rendered at 128kbps stereo mp3. Glad you enjoyed it!

[Animation Tutorial 4 FX]

better than the last

the fire and water examples looked the best imo. the smoke looked a bit gnarly, but the others were ok/good. still just watch out for basic spelling errors and typos, that sorta thing. oh u shouldnt even bother putting the "now just a word here" page in. oh and the last page button cuts the music off.

Thanks for saying the tutorials are getting better. And yes the smoke looks a bit gnarly but it is great for small file sizes. Sorry about the button killing the music. was something I missed I guess. did it so when you hit the button it didn't play another music track on top of the one already playing. And I appologize for any spelllingg errors. I'm not perfect... but hey I want to help people.

i dont get it. what was the point in making that? why not just play the game... the animation is better and is 100% more interactive. that was a poor attempt at.... um... a poor attempt at..... er... i dunno what u were attempting, but it was poor for sure.

like existentialvoid said. the sound is pretty poor quality. its computer hum. u need to get a better setup if u want to get rid of it. like a better mic and soundcard. u say u cant re-create the problem? just turn your volume up and listen closely for the hum. it will happen on everyones machine. not just some peoples. unless you have poor speakers that just distort everything so its not noticeable.

right, the animation was pretty poor. i dont think you're a good enough animator to be pushing out tuts. people were saying you couldnt make cartoons? they weren't correct but still... this needs alot of work.
the animation seemed out of place. and the intro with the bus was jerky and pretty off putting.

you probably shouldnt have uploaded a teaser. no one really wants to see a teaser. shoulda submitted it to the alpha section of the NG mag instead.

the humor was terrible. you tried to crack some jokes but they fell far short.

WOW! Now that is a review! Makes me feel like I hit your dog with an AXE or something... First off I fixed the audio as best I could after the first mention of it in the reviews... I killed ALOT of the problem but there are Reminants left over that are impossible to fix... Sorry for those but you have to listen for them.

As for audio and animation quality... Clearly you want me to learn from this movie?

Now everyone is entitled to a few mistakes... and as far as my tutorials are concerned THEY DON'T HURT ANYONE! I have seen peoples animations BEFORE AND AFTER and they improved from watching them... So unless you want to make a tutorial or two about making a tutorial I don't think you can help on that issue.

Shouldn't have uploaded a teaser... YES! FINALLY SOMETHING I AGREE WITH WHOLE HEARTEDLY! I put it up so I would stop getting emails from people wondering why I made tutorials but didn't have any cartoons up... This animation is 10 min long and I didn't want to put half of it up... and this was the best stopping point for it.

Humor... Again this animation is 10 min long... If you are going to be so negitive about lack of humor, bad animation, and awful sound, I'm surprized you didn't close it out and give it a 0 before it was finished...

I'm not one to hold a grudge... and I'm not angry... just feels like a case of pot calling the kettle black to me there pal.

Umm... I gave beastmaster a 3 by the way... saw your toad pirate animations... they are good but they don't move around much and they don't make much sense...

Not very nice to have the shoe on the other foot.

Well... Boys and girls I hope we all learned a valuable lesson from this... Negitivity breeds negitivity...

its made quite well and the layout is nice and clean and easy to follow. just not perfect.. got a few typos in there and i dont agree with the "E" head... thats the "ee" head right? using a mouth showing both bottom and top teeth seems to work better i feel. personal prefecnce perhaps. and then you go on to talk about setting the sound to stream so that it syncs with the frames. well yours sure didnt on my machine nor my friends. so that could be a bit confusing to n00bs trying to learn from this tut. oh and your character... u been watching too many episodes of homestar runner? even your layout and nature of your homepage is the same. well anyway. u have design skills. but not much teaching ability. dont think this deserved 1st place. or even 5th place... but then again i havent watched any of the other cartoons for that day.. they musta blowed.

Was wondering when someone was gonna notice that... lol. I had the voice streamed but for some ODD reason half the clips kept coming out HORRIBLE... tryed for a half hour to fix it even reanimated part of it... but 2 of them would not get fixed... so I made them all event sound clips. and to be honest... I was very surprized at feature of the day too.

another great kanimation! probably the best yet kano, probably the best yet. At first when i was watching it i was like "cool another total kanimationally styled kanimation!" then Roy was all like shitting in the toilet and i was like "omfg thats gross ):" but then he drank some glogg and did a huge shit and i was like "alright! that's gross (:". nice one kano. nice one indeed.

i've enjoyed the other salad fingers episodes so i thought i'd drop a review on this one. nothing special, i'm sure u've heard it all b4. good job, nicely done, fucking bizarre but great.

bbc3 have an animation contest going at the mo (i think). i was gonna entered but my idea proved too arduous. u should wack an epsiode on a tape and send it off. i wish there were cartoons like these on tv.
