great stuff. shoulda definetly got 1st or 2nd for the day i think. did you use a real person for reference while drawing this? its just.. the arms looked a bit short in length... especially on the loading screen.

but lovely animation... altho it probably needs a few more inbetween drawings to make it a little smoother.

this makes me very sad. very sad indeed.

so here we are with another mario sprite movie, but not only that, this one is some sort of tribute to Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom. so its kinda like a parody of a parody which must be the lowest form of wit and originality that a flash artist can provide.

At least you made it well, the production quality was high. This doesnt help the score I'm giving you though. With this trashy idea you've gotta produce well or what do you end up with?

I dont like it when flash artists rely on Mario to get good ratings. Bcoz that's all this was. "yo lets take mario out for a spin and watch people drool" odd people here at NGs giving you (at present) 3.9+ outta 5. well maybe not odd, but young and ignorant perhaps.

What if someone awhile back had done a flash sprite movie about.. say.... "boogerman" another nintendo game character all be it slightly less popular. and then you came along and tried to copy the movie. the blam couldnt come fast enough. which is how i feel about this submission. I'd honestly give this a 1, bcoz come on.... its lower than "nothing too new or interesting" this sorta stuff has been done so many times its beyond a joke. and your 17? you should have more sense. I was expecting about a 13 year old to be spewing out this.

But hey nothing personal. I'm just sick and fed up of mario parodies.... and um... "mario parody mario parodies" I'd like to at least leave on a high note. i noticed after a few close calls you've hit daily 1st for the 1st time. so really man. congrats on that! (people must love it and i'm a minority) cya later.

i liked the idea up until the end. it was a pretty boring way to end the animation. the sound cut out for me, after his short daydream thing. but all n all it was pretty well done. what were those purple thing in the sky? where they meant to be lens flare from the sun? daily 5th place seems just about right for this, well done.

those flashback bits.... oh dear.. if you're gonna do them.. u gotta really make sure it's a good gag. otherwise.... u get people like me saying "oh dear" and cringing.

it really does deserve a score of about 2 i'd say - "nothing to new or interesting" sums it up perfectly.
